About the project
The EU-Ukraine Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness of Ukraine project “EU Competitiveness: A Roadmap for Ukraine’s European Future” aims to improve Ukraine’s understanding and engagement with the EU competitiveness agenda, in line with the European Commission’s priorities for 2024-2029. It is based on the recognition that a prosperous and competitive Europe requires a multifaceted approach, covering economic, social and environmental dimensions. The project directly addresses the objectives of the competition by promoting knowledge and understanding of EU integration – the project will provide in-depth knowledge of EU policies, best practices related to competitiveness, including the Single Market, competition policy, cohesion policy, innovation and the Green Deal. The project will highlight the importance of EU values such as the rule of law, solidarity and non-discrimination, which are crucial for successful integration and economic development. The project will promote dialogue and cooperation between different stakeholders in Ukraine, including government, academia, business and civil society, in line with Erasmus+'s focus on promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange between different actors.
The project aims to address the gaps in the understanding and implementation of EU competitiveness policies in Ukraine. Despite the importance of these policies, there is a need for awareness-raising and capacity-building among key stakeholders, and the project will fill this gap by providing in-depth analysis, facilitating dialogue and developing practical tools and strategies for Ukraine’s path to EU integration. The project is of great importance for the scale of the competition and will make a significant contribution to deepening Ukraine’s understanding and engagement with the EU competitiveness agenda, which will ultimately contribute to the country’s successful path to European integration.
